… for the moment. It was another amazing ride over the Rockies, to the home of the Rockies. The weather was beautiful and the critters abounded. Grant spotted another otter and even a moose—neither of which I saw. But we both saw oodles of mule deer, plenty of elk, and even a half dozen beaver. Oh, and there were plenty of eagles, generally being harassed by crows.
Our southern exposure got quite toasty today, in our aging Amtrak sleeping car. With shoes and socks off… oh yeah, I covered this already. Well, I’ll attach a few photos before we pull out of the station and head east to the Great Plains.
